Deodorant and Antiperspirant, what are they?
Deodorants and antiperspirants are two tools that allow us to control bad underarm odor.
Before starting, we need to make a premise: the sweat we produce has no smell,te on the skin that emit unpleasant aromas when they come into contact with itinstead it is the bacteria that stagna Therefore it is always good to maintain proper hygiene especially in those areas of the body where sweat can stagnate. We recommend the use of Base Lavante, which is also ideal for frequent washing.
What are the differences between a deodorant and an antiperspirant?
Both the traditional deodorant and the antiperspirant have the same goal, not to make us emit unpleasant smells, but the mechanism of action is completely different.
What does antiperspirant deodorant mean?
Unlike traditional deodorant, which limits bad odour by masking it with strong fragrances and often with the addition of alcohol as an antibacterial, antiperspirant works by controlling the production of the sweat glands.
By preventing perspiration, antiperspirant is therefore able to eliminate unpleasant odours triggered by the contact of sweat with the skin.

How to use antiperspirant deodorant?
Applying antiperspirant deodorant is very simple. It is sufficient to apply it in the morning and as needed, to enjoy its effects throughout the day.
How does antiperspirant deodorant work?
As already mentioned, an antiperspirant acts precisely on the cause of bad odour by controlling sweat production.
Using an antiperspirant deodorant results in a less humid environment and therefore bacteria will find it difficult to live and reproduce and consequently no bad odour will be generated.
The action of antiperspirant is therefore twofold:
1) It limits the production of sweat in the underarm area.
2) It reduces the formation of unpleasant odours, making us feel fresh all day long.
Is there a difference between antiperspirant for women and men?
No. In the case of traditional deodorants what can make the difference is the type of fragrance used to cover bad smells. Armpit antiperspirants usually do not have any fragrance and their operation is suitable for everyone.
Can deodorant be applied immediately after shaving?
It is possible that when applying traditional deodorants, especially after hair removal, a burning sensation may occur due to the presence of alcohol or other antibacterial components or particularly aggressive fragrances.
For those with sensitive skin, it is preferable to use an alcohol-free and fragrance-free antiperspirant.

Are aluminium salts dangerous?
Two international authorities have intervened in recent years to protect consumer health. In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration and in Europe the European Scientific Committee for Consumer Safety, which have collected studies and clinical evidence on the safety of aluminum salts.
Based on the data collected, they concluded that aluminium salts are absolutely safe for people’s health and can be used in antiperspirant deodorants. In the interests of safety, the American and European authorities have laid down limits on the amount of aluminium salts that can be used in cosmetics.
